OPERATION COOKIE DROP

Support your local Girl Scouts and the US freedom fighters serving in harms way, and join "OPERATION COOKIE DROP".

The Yellow Ribbon Support Group has been sending Girl Scout cookies to the troops overseas for the past two years. We include a tube of cookies in each Flat Rate Priority box while the supply lasts. These Girl Scout cookies bring a touch of home to the military serving in harms way. Everyone grew up with Girl Scout cookies in their home each spring.

We have contacted all of the Girl Scout Councils, who in turn have notified their various GSA units and troops about "OPERATION COOKIE DROP".

When the Girl Scouts go door to door this January asking their friends and neighbors to purchase Girl Scout cookies, they will ask if they would like to order a box of GSA cookies for a freedom fighter in Iraq or Afghanistan. Last year the Girl Scouts sold more cookies than in any previous year since the American patriots wanted to show support for our troops, as well as the Girl Scouts.

We are encouraging the Girl Scout troops to contact their local Fire Departments or Police Departments; and ask if they will act as a drop off point for the cookies. This enables the Yellow Ribbon Support Group to pick up the cookies for each GSA unit/group at one central location in their area.
